since we don't have a category "Jack"
(and if we had, I wouldn't like that),
this part probably needs some renaming

I think the !HELP section should get replaced
by a simple sentence pointing to the assemblies ...c01 or ...c02
for usage examples.

There is a tiny gap between the 4-4cyli and the faces (see http://news.webshots.com/photo/2546659860039669963GwHZLi). The 4-4cyli does not fit the four points 64/+-2.5/+-10. I suggest to use a 5-8cyli and to create two new quads linking the cyli with the faces.
Additional I would prefer a 5-8disc and new quads at both sides instead of the 4-4disc. It will avoid the overlapping faces.
At least you will need 4 lines only instead of 8 by using 5-8edges instead of the 2-4edges.

As this is already a fix of an official part you can submit an improved version.

Condlines at both ends of the 5-8cyli of course do not meet the edges with 64/2.5/10 coordinates. But the difference is small enough to avoid creating adequate new condlines.

At both sides I used 5-8disc because I don't wanted to create a 5-8chrd primitive only for saving the triangles.

This file used to have simlego as author.

The previous added CATEGORY has disappeared

Are you also working on the jack base 4629? It has some issues to solve.
See my comments at 4629c01 and ..c02.

Sorry. There was a bug in a self written macro which I use for easier working with part files.

MagFors, I've read yor comments at the 4629... files. Because I have this part I can do the work I hope (if I will get the time...).

This Admin Fasttrack is wrong.
This part was already at the Tracker and had been reworked.
That work is now reverted back to the old design.

I know that you meant to correct 4628, the handle.

Perhaps this needs "Minifig" in front of the part title like other Minifig Accessories?

It looks strange, indeed, but I guess that the comment comes from Chris, reverting back to the former design.

I thought it too. But do an admin have the possibility to log in with another existing user ID?

Brickaneer,

I'm not sure Chris is "logged in" as you. But he does possess the ability to submit a part under your name.
This is generally how fixes to new parts work: you e-mail him the fixed part, and then he posts it under your name. Just look at any fixed part currently on the PT. Now, usually he doesn't post comments with them, but this was obviously a case where he made a mistake, so he chose re-submit under your name (since you're the one who'd made the changes) and then made a comment about it.
I will admit that it was a bit confusing, as I thought it was in fact you who had done the submitting and commenting. But it makes sense now.
