I've started to cut this one in two. It is very symetrical, and would benefit from subparting.

Would it be wrong to turn this part 90 degrees, after this long time, here on the Part Tracker?

I personnally don't like that, but... it's been done many times previously. (BTW, I guess you mean to split the so called "7351"...)

Otherwise, the whole assembly ("7351c01") is 42590 (already asked Chris for rename). I guess "7351" cut in half should become 42590s01.

Updated with new parts. Motor houseing halfs, left and right.
Do anybody of the previous authors know were the number 7351 came from?
Molded on the body somewhere?

Since this motor has changed name already, we could as well change its orientation to match other pull-back motors.

OK, but how do I do that?
Should all parts, and subfiles, be turned, or is it enough with this one?

Why is this one called a "Technic Motor Pull Back...".
All the other is only called "Motor Pull Back...".

For me it's enough to turn the whole assembly. Subparts are the responsability of their author.

sorry to annoy here, but
(a) the role between 42590.dat and 7351.dat needs to be cleaned up.
has one of the files to be deleted? are they the same?
(b) 42590.dat and u9182.dat currently have 90 degrees differing
orientation. I think that should not be. Since none of those
is a subpart, I think we need to care about proper orientation.
we should also investigate the orientation of the other motor
parts.

not really. as long as the halfes were subparts,
their orientation was irrelevant.
but now they are parts.

I suggest to at least reorient them to match the parent part.
