Is it really dark red, or reddish brown?

please have a look at http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=75775
according to this link, there has been a color correction. i can do another version with alternative colors, but which color do i have to choose for the hanging (very dark red) part? a combination of reddish brown belt and dark red hanging?

I looked closely at my parts - definitely dark red here...

OK, indeed there are two versions. I looked again more closely my Eomer and Theoden minifigs, here's what I see (http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Philo/Misc/eomer-theoden.jpg). Theoden has dark red belt and hanging cloth. Scales are shiny silver with almost no difference between dark and light ones. Eomer has a brown belt and brownish dark red hanging cloth (in the hips, color difference between belt and cloth can be clearly seen). The difference in silver scales is easy to see, dark scales are much less shiny. Silver color on hips is dark silver.

i checked mine too, both figures' hips and legs are the same (http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/n-man/misc/eomer-theoden.jpg).
i'm a little confused about the colors, which ones do i have to use:
hips type 1:
belt -> reddish brown (code 70)
hanging -> brownish dark red (code ???)
silverish scale extension -> dark silver (code ???)
legs type 1:
hanging -> brownish dark red (code ???)
dark scales -> dark silver (code ???)
light scales -> metallic silver (code 80)
hips type 2:
belt -> dark red (code 320)
hanging -> dark red (code 320)
silverish scale extension -> dark silver (code ???)
legs type 2:
hanging -> dark red (code 320)
dark scales -> dark silver (code ???)
light scales -> metallic silver (code 80)
