More to the point, it's not an accurate representation of the physical part. Now that it's back on the PT we might as well take care of that :-)

The 'needs work' comment should state that the connector is inaccurately modelled. The scaling is irrelevant.

@anathema : 'The scaling is irrelevant.'
Why is that irrelevant? Then we should not write that they should not be scaled!

It is irrelevant because that primitive should not be used in this part. Whether it's scaled doesn't matter - the error is that it shouldn't be here :-)

the "Needs Work" note in the file now says
"underside connector needs remodeling with proper geometry",
which IMHO subsumes both, so I think the file is fine
until some lonely soul has grace and fixes it

this file currently prevents its parent from being released.

its parent only is on the PT
for getting a trivial 0 BFC CERTIFY statement.

this will now not get out until this part is fixed. that's sad.

I think the "needs work" is enough to let this part out as it is now.

(by the way, the parent file already waits >4 years
to simply get its trivial BFC statement...)

I'm reworking this.
While reworking 3680 (removing peghole.dat) I found that the hole, and the disc in this part, are too small.
It should have a diameter of 35 ldu, not 32.

I'll have to rework 4508 (Turntable 2x2 Plate with Hinge) also.
Working on it now.
