You may have fixed LP3 erros, but you added some in the form of blue quadrilaterals.

Nice work! but there seems to be some missing lines at the front end?

Got coplanarity? of coarse, this is to be expected with a part this complex and should be no reason to hold it.

Missing some Edge lines. Based on the current orientation, the "front"-most tip along the main axis of the handle has no edge lines.

orientation mismatch with 40339.dat
I don't currently know which one I would prefer,
but we should be using the same for all Bionicle Weapons

I'd prefer to leave this part like it is and change the orientation of 40339.dat. It looks more awkward if it's vertically positioned IMHO.

*However*, the part needs a better title. Perhaps name it to something like "Technic Bionicle Weapon Axe Large" (like Peeron), or something similar? I want the 01 out of the part title. (hold reason)

Also, the part is used by the 2001 Lewa set only, so I'd be for adding 8535 as a keyword.

Another issue is the number. Peeron has two entries of this part, 32559 and 32669. Is this part really 32559? The 32669 entry is inventoried on Peeron. I have the part but it's 1) lost, 2) bitten by the dog. :-( This means I can't check, but I want to be sure.

don't share it :-(

This could be use a halved subfile to reduce overall size.

Personally, I'd like to see the origin center on the technic pin hole, so that it's easy to rotate around that point, rather than at the end.

Looks good, though. Very well done.

I'm beginning to want the Bionicle Weapon origin be at the pinholes. I went through all Bionicle Weapons on Peeron and all weapons that had an 1L axle which is supposed to put into a figure's hand also have a pinhole immediately following it - except the 47317 Crystal Spike, 47314 Aero Slicer (whose origin is very fine IMHO), and 47335 Staff of Confusion. Those three parts origins should follow 47314.dat IMHO.

There are also the six Turaga staffs that have no pinholes following the axle but the axles are 10L anyhow so they can be treated as exceptions as well. Also the Piraka weapons would flout this rule, but they'd be IMHO best oriented so that the axle is pointing downwards - thus they'd be another group that this rule would not be applied on. And then there are the projectile launchers but most of them don't have axles at all!

Thus I'd suggest the following:
- all "normal" Bionicle weapons - ones that have an 1L axle and can be directly placed on a figure hand - would have the origin placed on the pinhole following the axle.
- 47317.dat and 47335.dat, once made, would follow 47314.dat
- shield parts such as the twelve Bohrok round shields and 64266 Ice Shield would be oriented so that the shield patterns would face front (though that can be discussed later)
- the six Piraka weapons 53577, 53578, 53572, 53571, 53575 and 53569 and any part not mentioned above that has no pinhole immediately following the 1L axle would be treated case-by-case.

Anybody with me?

If also Steffen agree to this I will go to change the origin like suggested, but he does explicit say the current one is very good.
I think the middle of the pinhole would be better.

With origin centered on the pinhole, it is easy to rotate the axe around pinhole axis AND axlehole axis -> it's better.

One thing bugs me, though... Valemar has the Kopaka sword (http://www.ldraw.org/cgi-bin/ptdetail.cgi?f=parts/32552.dat) as Non-CA and this one as CA. Did he really intend it this way or have we goofed somewhere?
