I still see gaps in LDView in 4 places:
each of these primitives

does not touch its neighboring quads properly.
This can be confirmed, too, by *inlining* these two.
The coordinates of the then resulting quads
don't match those of the neighbor quads.

The offset is off, but unfortunately cannot be corrected
as this part already has been official.
(Rotating it in MLCad does not revolve it around its center,
but around some strange offset world origin)

Are you sure you have inspected the current file on the PT? All occurence of 12.73 in the old version is substitude by 12.7 (this value is given by inlining the primitive in question.). And I also can not see any gap in LDView, also on high zoom level. Please recheck. If possible please provide screenshot.

I'd go for fixing the origin, somebody might think of using this part as a sort of puck for an ice hockey game model, or as a catapult shot, et cetera.
In LDraw nothing was supposed to be impossible, remember? ;-)
