Newly submitted to reflect the changes of the subpart, that had an origin change due to maybe more use than only this part.

Because of origin change of the subfile this file needed adjustment for that.

Since this part may be used like this (http://www.peeron.com/inv/sets/7739-1?showpic=10892 or http://www.peeron.com/inv/sets/4606-1?showpic=2926) I think the origin would be better centered on the sphere.

I also thought about the origin at the towball, but as it is unusual I did it first the other way. Now that you also think in my direction, I have changed the origin to the middle of the towball because it is really mostly used that way.

Either this part must be retitled to something like "Plate 1 x 1 with Hook and Towball" or be reoriented to match other grabbing parts such as 30.dat and 3492c01.dat (with yet another title or with "!CATEGORY Freestyle").

"Plate 1 x 1 Round with Hook, Towball and Two Studs"?

By the way, why the subfile? It only is referenced once and not used by other parts..

Shouldn't it be a condline?

I should really find somebody, who can tell me how to write the conlines with their control points.
When I found somebody, I will change this edgeline and the logos.

...or you could just use Edger2. Remove the incorrect line and create a new condline with it.

More problems...
the big 4-4cyli is bleeding through surface below the studs.
Has two flat primitives flipped with "bfc invertnext".

We can work on this part and make it perfect, but nobody knows, or we can certify and then make it perfect in the second step.
I prefer the second way. None of the reported problems (they are there) will be visible if you view with a little more distance to this part.

We have lot of parts on the PT that really needs our help.

Well, now the logos/studs are mirrored.

And please replace the 4-4cyli with:
1 16 0 20 -4 7.0711 0 7.071 7.071 0 -7.0711 0 8 0 3-4cyli.dat
4 16 -4.378 28.871 -4 -7.071 27.0711 -4 -7.071 27.0711 4 -4.378 28.871 4

Many of the flat primitives are scaled in three dimensions.

The edgeline between the sphere and the cyli is made for the old sphere-primitive.
It needs to be recreated.

Please, one more thing, and I think we are done.
It needs these condlines:
5 14 -7.071 27.0711 -4 -7.071 27.0711 4 -4.378 28.871 -4 -9.23901 23.8269 -4
5 14 2.296 45.543 4 2.296 45.543 -4 6.089 42.522 4 0 46.0002 -4
5 14 6.089 42.522 -4 6.089 42.522 4 2.296 45.543 4 6.67545 41.6445 -4

Mike, may I fix the subfile? It too needs some improvements.
