The origin is odd, but it is the same as current official 30152.dat. Please let me have your comments on that.

Isn't this part equivallent to 30152?

Agreed, origin is weird, but it is best to keep it compatible.

hmm, is this maybe a "shortcut" instead of a "part"?
is the clear portion inside glued to the frame?

OK this way, dual injection probably.

Comments:
Either this is a part made of 2 subparts (double injection mould),
then it cannot be a ...c01.

OR

It really is a shortcut (assembly) made of 2 ~parts,
then the subparts need to be converted from subparts to ~parts.

Both cases lead to a hold vote.

I do not have that part on hand right now, but if I remember right it is _not_ double injection.

I just had a look at Brickset and TLG calles this Multicolor.
So I assume this to be incorrect at all.
Design ID for clear lens is therefore 10830 (http://www.brickset.com/parts/?part=6012466)

I was incorrect with the above.

30152c01 and 30152c02 shares the same frame but with different colored lens. I guess the method of creating is the same as on 61406.
So with the current subparts it is build fine, but the naming needs to be changed as the c indicates a combination of parts what is not correct in this case.

I think 10830 is different, with a thicker frame. Brickset lists two designs http://brickset.com/parts/design-30152 and http://brickset.com/parts/design-10830.
