This file should not reference a pattern subfile when it has no pattern.

I suggest extending the hollow studs on top rather than placing the bottom half in the subpart.

Studs should not be scaled, therefore it would need twice as many extensions on this part than are currently present on the sub-part

as the studs being used here
are such that have no LEGO logo in them,
I see no problem with scaling them

I'm sorry, but I think we need a little refacturing here:
IMHO, the glass should be a separate part,
and this file become an assembly of the main body part plus glass.

I agree with Steffen.
We also need to renumber this part, since there are two versions of it.
http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=2924a
http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=2924b
Do anyone know the partnumbers for these three parts?
There are some pictures of it here:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=321123139260&item=321123139260&lgeo=1&vectorid=229466
The sub-file 2924s01 could be reworked and reused in both parts, a and b.
