Presumably this could be changed to 'Wheels' on release?

our previous approach to axle+wheels assembles was
to model wheels and axle as separate files,
then compose them by a shortcut file.
I think this technique should be repeated here.

downgrade to novote until this question is solved.
I don't see any effort in doing a part for the axle and one for the wheel(s). The are very well glued together in the real part so it is almost impossible to disassemble it.
In my eyes we need only this one file.

The reason for separating the parts out is because we usually model the individual moulds - in this case, there's a mould for the plastic wheel plus a piece of metal bar for the axle. The fact that they're not intended to be disassembled in real life isn't a consideration :-)

In this case somebody should split this part.

Actually, the most important requirement is to have edge lines of the right color on diffently colored sections. When you need to create subparts for that, it's better to really create separate parts. Here the benefit is very small, as primitives do the job.

I want to keep this description, so that this part still gets sorted together with all the other Monorail parts.
