Shouldn't it use 2507s01?

Aha, there is a subfile! I missed that. I'll make this file use it.

How about the patterned area in this file?
What's the point of having some area non-BFC? Is that still neccesary? Could/Should I remove it?

What about "orphanized" sub-files?

"Aha, there is a subfile!" Found it with LDStructure ;)
"What's the point of having some area non-BFC?" If you set BFC ("normal", not gree/red), the pattern disappears when seen from backside. NOCLIP prevents this.
"What about "orphanized" sub-files? " No definitive opinion...

OK, I get it.
Most patterns on transparent parts don't use this, so I ask again.
Is it leftover from a older practice, should I remove it?

Existing certification-votes were deleted.

Could you please add and rotate these lines at the outer left and right of hinge?

0 BFC INVERTNEXT
1 16 -36 -4 6 0 1.5 0 3.5 0 0 0 0 -3.5 bump5000.dat
1 16 -36 -4 6 0 -1 0 0 0 0.5 0.5 0 0 4-4ring7.dat
1 16 -36 -4 6 0 -1 0 0 0 4 4 0 0 2-4ndis.dat

I'm reworking all these hinge type parts at the moment. And I don't want to touch this part again just for this reason.
Thanks.

And a question to the noclip. I tried to display/render the part with the NOCLIP Command and without. Here is my result (Used LDView 4.2 b1)

With NOCLIP:

without NOCLIP:

I can not see a difference in both results...

@Philo: No, BFC is enabled in both cases (only Red/Green/Blue is disabled in the submenu) And I checked now again - same result. But yes, didn't expect this result.

@MMR1988
On my old machine I could also not use the BFC display feature. The only way to have trustful results was to only enable one option at a time (green front OR red back OR blue undefined). All together did show wrong results. It is grafik card depending.

Thanks,

The NOCLIP section is still in this file. And it should stay there.
Are absence of NOCLIP, in patterns on transparent parts, a reason for a HOLD vote?

The requested bump-prims should be placed in the affected subfile, s\2507s01.dat.
Do you want help with that?

IMO, this file is ready for a review.

Yes, I'd forgotten, that there is a subfile. I will do this, when I finished some other parts...todo list grows and grows...
@Mike: thanks for this hint.

Definitely OK.
I would say that the NOCLIP on trans parts is a minor improvement, worth a comment, but not a hold.
