imho the 7 stud rows on the short side should use stugduplo-7x1.dat instead of stugduplo-1x7.dat (wrong orientation of stud logo)

Hey, I will have to check this but I think that the solid Duplo studs have no logo... The "normal" Duplo studs have a DUPLO lettering inside.

Good point. I can see logos here http://www.bricklink.com/PL/31074.jpg?0 or here http://www.bricklink.com/PL/31043.jpg?0 but they are oriented differently.

Or maybe we can also conclude that logo orientation on Duplo stud is not of paramount importance (in this case studduplo should be redefined with a simple cylc).

I had a look at the real parts/plates. Indeed, there is a logo on the studs - but it's not LEGO but DUPLO. I would suggest to fix the stud-orientation and to change the duplostud.dat. Maybe LDraw will have a DUPLO logo feature one day, too.

let's correct the stud orientation, so we can later
add a "duplo" logo to studduplo.dat

Why is this a "lake"? All I see is a void without studs.
