BFC is not set.
Different orientation than other flexible ribbed hoses.

BFCed.
Orientation is the same as 758c01 (from which this part and subparts are greatly inspired). Or shall we change both to match other hoses?

758c01 is an official file and can't be changed, unless we also renumber it.
IMO, this one should be placed like most of the other ribbed flex hoses, horisontal.

We have a good reason to renumber (and reorient) 758c01: design number is now known. https://brickset.com/parts/design-30527
Note that there are 3 color combinations: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/search.page?q=x131*#T=A

Can we somehow avoid the overlapping area with the last middle segment and the end segment?

Yes, it could be avoided with a truncated 14301a.
And 14301a could also have an ending half sphere too.

The same could be said for 759.dat ;)

I have absolutely no problem with this. I spent 3 minutes trying to locate the "issue", which means it's absolutely invisible to "normal" eyes.
