Tried to model the neck with primitives, but had trouble with the connections to the body and head, would not look nice when using a transparant color.
Decided to subpart the front for patterns.

Probably as well indeed. (Though chances to see a trans quitar is pretty low...)

"Decided to subpart the front for patterns." No, you got it backwards. You should subpart the (unprinted) body (that will be shared between all patterned parts) and inline the front.

Thanks!
One more thing (I should have looked at this earlier, sorry!): If you put the origin at the intersection point of head and back bar, the part will be easier to rotate around the two handling places.

changed origin.
But when looking at the other guiter part (93564), it has a different orientation and origin. Perhaps using the same for this one?

Sorry, I was not clear... I meant to place the origin at the intersection of the two main "bars" of the guitar, thus (as part is currently oriented) at x=-61.374.
You got a point with the other guitar, yes, the orientation should be the same. As for origin, I think it's better to have a more functional one (as I described). 93564 didn't have such a handling bar on back...

I see a lot of tiny rounding errors, like 0.0001 or 4.9999 and more.
Probably introduced at the change of orientation and origin.

Indeed rounding issues due to rotation, moved the part up by 0.0001 to correct
