Could someone please explain the partnumber used here?
Why isn't this a 3626b or 3626c?

The part number corresponds to the design ID taken from the Lego website. I will take any advice on the correct part number.

See numbering scheme with Rohan shield:
- Base shape beeing 75902, patterned version is named 75902p01
- Since we know the design number of that patterned version, an alias is created (10520)
- A physical colored shortcut may also be created using item number (6022422) as you did here.
This may seem a bit contradictory with the policy of always using design number when known, but it finds its root in the time (even recent) where design number for patterned parts was never known.

Otherwise, I think (not sure) that it should use 3626c.

Possible pattern improvement: planar front projection gets distorted of the sides of the cylinder. If possible (flat) pattern should compensate by flattening round things on sides (eg. stubble) to prevent elongation once projected.

Thank you Philo. I renamed the file to 3626cpb719.dat, using the number from bricklink, and created 10756 as an alias to capture the design ID.

Regarding the pattern on the sides, the stubbles or whatever they are, are elongated on the original and on the pictures published in the replacement part section of the manufacturer. Not sure I should change this.

This file is now a duplication of others. Please remove it.

Regarding stubble, OK ;)
