IMHO, this should become a primitive

relaxing to novote because the other subfiles for Quatro bricks
http://www.ldraw.org/cgi-bin/ptdetail.cgi?f=parts/48138.dat
would also qualify as primitives in some way.
However, just making the stud one and the rest not is asymmetric.
Not sure how to deal with this. Depends probably on how many Quatro bricks
are still to appear. If they aren't too many, it's perhaps better fine the way it is now.

I thought about uploading this as a primitive, but there's only 1 other part (which I don't have, so can't make) which uses this.

(Or maybe 2, if you count a bucket with studs on the lid, which I also don't have.)

Yes this should become a primitive, there are several parts that would need that.

we need a fast-draw version of this primitive,
otherwise MLCad will show error popups for all parts using it

can somebody please confirm that this primitive has correct height?

I am currently confused about that the current height
is 4.75x the height of a stud2,
and not 4x or 5x.

I think we should not vote hold on a part if we are not sure for our claim!
It is indeed a curious value, but it might be correct. To vote only on a guess with hold is in my eyes bad practise.

No, I disagree. If there's a strange finding like this,
letting this out unchecked will create a terrible mess in future,
as such glitches cannot be easily corrected downwards compatibly.
It is better to solve this trouble on the PT.

I just tried to combine a 2 x 2 brick from Duplo to one of these studs. As far as i can see there is nothing that would prevent the 2 x 2 brick to fall down as there is no crimping between the virtual parts.
We need somebody that has such a quatro brick and also a duplo brick, so he can give us some hints how that both fits together.

just the real correct height of this stud needs to be determined.

it could for example easily be done by comparing to some known bricks.

I think the high of this stud is OK. Compared with this picture I got something around 19.65 LDU (and this is caused by the perspective I think)

As this was just a tiny change I feel, I'm still allowed to cert here.
The low res version exists. This was a fault by myself. (Error message was for stud25.)

I think that we should add the missing inside structure.

It should grab hold of a duplo understud, stud8.
