Greetings LEGO fans from the LDraw.org tech team! We're excited to see the new site go live, and lately have been working hard to smooth out the rough edges throughout.
In this article, we've taken the time to put together a current list of what you can do to help out.
Topic Icons
Almost all pages with content on the site are filed under 'Topics' in the PostNuke system. Each topic can be assigned an icon 59x69 pixels. You can see some examples on the Topics index page [4].
Notice not all of the images appear. The broken images haven't been created yet. We're looking for some small LDraw models, like the ones you see there, to symbolize the rest of the topics.
Please send images to webmaster@ldraw.org. PNG files only please, 59x69 pixels. Please use a white backdrop wherever possible, to match the site.
Links Editor
Help fill out our links page! The new, robust links area begs to be populated with the coolest LDraw and LEGO-related websites. Email webmaster@ldraw.org if you are interested.
FAQ Editor
We're looking for someone (or perhaps a few individuals) to spend some time updating and editing the LDraw FAQ. Also, the FAQ system on the site allows for multiple categories and sub-categories. We've started a couple blank categories on the FAQ page [5] to illustrate the possibilities.
If you would like to work as an FAQ editor, please email webmaster@ldraw.org.
If you don't want to edit the FAQ, but have questions, send them in! At the top of the FAQ page (linked above), you can ask the editors a question by using the "Ask a Question" link.
Glossary Editor
We're also looking for someone to edit the Glossary [6] and add new terms and definitions. You can check out the new Glossary [7]. If you are interested, email webmaster@ldraw.org.
