Administrative [3]
An place to keep track of the site changes we'd all like to have or the idiosyncrasies we'd liked changed.

Please include a url example if possible.
Status Owner Item Description Various and Sundry Comments
[ ] Rebecca? Add OMR capability Rebecca has code, needs to be PN'd
see: Tech list email "omr" 11/3/03 8:40am by Rebecca
[in queue] Rebecca? New icons for User Preferences page - put images in html/images/menu folder Note email to tech list subject "New Icons for User Preferences"
Waiting for group consensus. -Rebecca
Waiting for David O. to create new images. -Orion
[in queue] Rebecca On the admin page, create some way to scroll back in the list of posted articles beyond 50. Perhaps with a link to 'next 50' or something like that.
Better solution would be provide an auto generated master "Article Index" -Orion
[in queue] Rebecca Create a method to hold certain articles at the top of a topic page indefinitely, overriding the reverse-chronological order they are usually indexed in, and displaying most recent below 'pinned' story (see Tim if you want an explanation, tried to write that clearly)
[researching] Rebecca? Fix SSI problems with PHP code incorrectly parsing in the Parts Tracker
[] Willy It is impossible to add icons from Album 76 to the topics. It is impossible to creat a new topic. You get the msg: Topic icon not found
[working] Willy When hitting the "Update winning entry and archive ballot" I get the following error message: "Failed to load module LdrawMOTM (at function: "archiveballot")" This is a known error in the module code. It also did not work as expected before I broke it. It will probably be removed in favor of manually editing the entry. -Orion
[] Willy Get rid off the "event" page. the info can be used for the history, but being mainly an online group spread all over the world it doesn't make much sense
[] Willy Core files folder in the download section has to be placed more prominently. the rest of the links in the software section have to be cecked and the version numbers updated to the current state.
[] Willy CSS for mozilla has to be reformated. See "Standard" title at: http://www.ldraw.org/article/292 [4]
[working] Willy Move complete PT refererence block to the specifiaction page. having 2 sources is confusing. I'm sorting this out with chris. we already reatched a good point. we will have to do some rewrite and reformating though. more should be shown trough the content list
[] Tim Update the history page integrating the event page http://www.ldraw.org/article/99 [5]
[] Willy Unify tech- and content-mailing list in one administration mailing list. currently the share of information is split
[] Willy This statement "[ Only works if Articles category isn't selected ]" at http://www.ldraw.org/admin.php?module=NS-AddStory&op=main is not true! BTW the category is confusing I cannot see any benefit.
[] Willy Remove the "Allow comments" from http://www.ldraw.org/admin.php?module=NS-AddStory&op=main we have been spammed by forum spammer in the past. Our main discussion happens at lugnet [6]. I do not want to see our information flow split between two site.
[] Willy Create a refernece page where all the CSS formats are shown and the title of the format template is formated by the format template.
[] Willy Clean the groups.
[] Willy I think the structure of the admin section confusing. we have an admin protocol, readable also by people with author/editor rights, which is fine. we have a to-do list which is also fine, but the admin topics are just a mix of the first two with additional stuff and I wish the topic page would not list protocoll as well as the to-dos
