In preparation for the LDraw poster gallery at BrickFest PDX 2004, we're looking for some great Space and Castle creations in LDraw format. If you have something top notch you'd like to display at the fest, read on.
Its time to start looking forward to BrickFest™ PDX 2004! Its hard to believe that in just four short months, this event will be upon us. We would like to encourage you to participate in this event by presenting on LDraw-related topics!
Due to the hard work of the team members, we hope to have the Model of the Month (MOTM) and Scene of the Month (SOTM) contests up and running by next month. As such we'd like to ask for any and all submissions to these two contests.
Stephen Fisher will be presenting on LDraw topics at Northwest BrickCon in Seattle this weekend. His presentation, entitled, "Computer Assisted Building," discusses the evolution of LEGO CAD tools and how they have influenced the online fan community.
Software company TechSoft has offered its HOOPS 3D graphics component to the LDraw community for FREE to use for developing new software!
Efforts are being made to set up a formal community organzation around LDraw.org. Most of the public discussion and news relating to these efforts have taken place on LUGNET. Tim Courtney posted a draft of the proposed "Purposes of the Organization" on LUGNET this Thursday. You can check out this draft and discuss the points here.
If you run a LEGO-related website where you host LDraw files or images generated by LDraw-based software, we welcome your link! You can submit your website to our links database by filling out the Add Link form. Link additions must be approved by an administrator before becoming publicly viewable.
You can also add a link to LDraw.org from your site! See our linking images, and add them to your site!

 If you have written LDraw-related software and it is not already listed in the Downloads Section, you can help out by submitting it to the download database on LDraw.org. An administrator will review your submission and add it to the database. Thanks for all of your hard work writing LDraw tools, we encourage you to share them with the community by posting them here!

Greetings LEGO fans from the LDraw.org tech team! We're excited to see the new site go live, and lately have been working hard to smooth out the rough edges throughout.
In this article, we've taken the time to put together a current list of what you can do to help out.
For the third year Jaco van der Molen is representing LDraw at LEGOWORLD 2003! He and his team will present the LDraw system of tools to the public and do demonstrations with MLCad, Rendering with POV Ray, Creating Building instructions with LPub and present the Dutch translation of MLCad.
You are very welcome to visit our booth in the "Bouwsteen" hall!
