Since the Motion to the LDraw Bylaws (Accountability of "Key Positions") has been posted and publicly discussed in this post at LUGNET, and since by peoples' silence, there appear to be no more lingering objections, the Steering Committee hereby calls for a community vote to ratify the motion which introduces the accountability of "Key Positions" by modifying the LDraw Bylaws (The full text of the proposed changes can be found at the ballot page).

To vote, please log in with your user account, then visit the ballot page:

Ratification of a motion to the LDraw Bylaws (Accountability of "Key Positions")

Only LDraw organization members may cast one vote in the poll. The poll will conclude at 2359 EDT (GMT -0500), March 15, 2007 and the result will be announced shortly thereafter.

The LDraw.org Steering Committee election is now open. To vote, you may log in to the web site with your user account, then visit the:

Steering Committee Ballot

Only LDraw organization members may vote and you may vote for up to five candidates only. This is a secret ballot. Our PostNuke ballot module does not allow to match the votes casted to an user account.

The poll will conclude at 2359 EDT (GMT -0500), March 15, 2007 and the winners will be announced shortly thereafter. Since all three content managers are running for the SteerCo (with a clear conflict of interest) Dan Boger, LDraw's Server Admin has agreed to oversee/archive the ballot and announce the new Steering Committee.
