Since the Motion to the LDraw Bylaws (Accountability of "Key Positions") has been posted and publicly discussed in this post at LUGNET, and since by peoples' silence, there appear to be no more lingering objections, the Steering Committee hereby calls for a community vote to ratify the motion which introduces the accountability of "Key Positions" by modifying the LDraw Bylaws (The full text of the proposed changes can be found at the ballot page).
To vote, please log in with your user account, then visit the ballot page:
Only LDraw organization members may cast one vote in the poll. The poll will conclude at 2359 EDT (GMT -0500), March 15, 2007 and the result will be announced shortly thereafter.
Troubleshooting:
If you are receiving the error "Not authorized to vote" when you attempt to access the ballot, you need to complete the additional step of joining the organization. This will enable your account to vote. To do this, visit this page and complete the form. Afterwarts, you need to wait 30 min to allow the system to process you. You may then view the ballot and vote.
If, after joining the org and waiting, you are still having problems, contact the webmasters (their email is listed on the Contact Page). Please include your website username to aid in troubleshooting.
