Male

History with LDraw:
Guy came across MLCad in the year 2000 shortly after coming out of his dark age while surfing the Net like many of us looking for sets to complete his small collection. He started building virtual replicas of the sets he owned in his childhood. Fine with the small selection of bricks used in old sets Guy ran into the shortcoming of the LDraw parts library around 2004 when making building instructions out of the new Technic parts, which hadn't been re-engineered into LDraw. With the helping hand of Chris Dee, one of LDraw's Parts Tracker Admins, he learned how to author and managed to design the new parts he needed. Since than he got literally addicted to author LDraw parts and his enormous output of more than 200 new and 350 modified or fixed parts is testimony to how much effort he puts into this hobby. Try browsing LDraw's PT and you'll realize how "GuyVivan"ized it is. By putting out tons of new parts every year LEGO is giving Guy a hard time but nonetheless he sticks passionately to his personal goal to one time ldraw all existing Technic parts.

Related interests:
Guy is an electronic engineer and technical draftsman by trade, but became a computer specialist by passion. Beside ldrawing and building Guy likes cats, is interested in aquariophilie, data processing, human contacts etc.
