- The sticker is a 0.25 LDU thin box (or whatever shape sticker is in), oriented such that the top face is at -0.25 Y and parallel with the X-Z plane. The pattern is on the top face; the other (five) sides of the box correspond to main background color of the sticker pattern (i.e. the predominant color of the pattern at its edges). If there isn't a predominant color at the edges of the sticker, the actual color of the sticker material should be used instead (usually white).
- For transparent stickers, the transparent portion should be modeled using color 16, so that the sticker can be attached to any color parts and still blend in. Unfortunately, if it is attached over a multi-colored region, it won't blend in, but there isn't really a good solution to that problem.
- Except with transparent stickers, the sticker pattern is modeled by real colors. They are not modifiable from the outside, and so the use of color numbers 16 and 24 is not allowed. Color 16 is allowed for transparent stickers, as noted above, but color 24 is not.
- The sticker pattern is modeled by real colors, they are not modifiable from the outside, and so the use of color numbers 16 and 24 is not allowed.
- The name of the part begins with 'Sticker ...'
- The part number for the sticker file is the SKU from the edge of the sticker sheet suffixed with a single letter. Each sticker from a single sheet should have a unique suffix. If the entire sheet is modelled in one part file then use the SKU with no suffix. If the SKU is unknown then the part number is "sXXX" where "XXX" is a number assigned by the Parts Tracker admin.
