Day 1 (Aug 8)

Rapid prototyped bricks by Mike Pique

Tim presenting LDraw to Ton Roosendaal and the Blender Communtiy

We arrived early and found out the the expo portion of the event didn't start until 8/10. We then met up with Mike Pique of Scripps Research Institute, Molecular Biology Department, who did some LEGO bricks in the rapid prototype machines in his department. He plans on using them to teach about DNA using LEGO bricks. Later on in the day Tim gave a short presentation on n LDraw to the Blender community.

Day 2 (Aug 9)

Not much in the way of Ldraw happened today. We waiting for the Expo to begin tommorrow so we can evangelize LDraw in the Exhibitor Hall.

Day 3 (Aug 10)

The Expo started today. The population of the convention simply exploded. There are so many people her it's insane. We wandered the exhibiter booths handing out AFOL comics. I think we distrubuted like 75-100 comic today. We also attended a talk about Rapid prototyping given by Mike Pique and his colleages. These machines are awesome. No all LDraw.org need is 25 grand to buy one. Tomorrow Tim and I give our LDraw talks so we spent most of the afternoon preparing.
