In preparation for the LDraw poster gallery at BrickFest PDX 2004, we're looking for some great Space and Castle creations in LDraw format. If you have something top notch you'd like to display at the fest, read on.

We'd like to show off the best of the best - excellent models paired with excellent renderings. The poster gallery will consist of LEGO models rendered with POV-Ray 3.5 (or MegaPOV 1.0)'s radiosity settings, printed in large format (either 11x17 or 17x22"). These posters will also be displayed at subsequent LEGOfests as is arranged.

Please send your submissions to Jon Palmer via email (jon at zemi dot net) no later than January 31. Submission guidelines are:

  • Lossless image format, such as PNG, or zipped BMP.
  • Resolution between 1500x1125 and 3000x2250, to achieve 150-300 DPI printouts.

Jon is responsible for assembling the gallery, and reserves the right to cut entries for any reason (space, quality, lateness)

If you would like some assistance with rendering settings or CPU time to render, please contact Tim Courtney (tim at ldraw dot org) and he will point you to someone who can help.

Recipient 2007
Kevin Clague
